Life-Like Options to Replace Teeth

Replacing missing teeth with dental implants is almost like having your natural smile again.

Treatment Overview

Dental implants are the gold standard in modern dentistry for replacing missing teeth. A dental implant is a titanium screw inserted into the jawbone. This biocompatible material promotes bone growth and integrates securely, forming the foundation for a natural-looking crown.

At Burwood Diamond Dental, we use dental implants to replace single teeth or support implant-retained dentures for full arch restorations. Implants offer superior function, aesthetics, and stability over other replacement options.

Our Process

Step-by-Step Implant Treatment Process

We take pride in delivering high-quality, predictable results with a personalized approach. Here’s what you can expect:

Initial Consultation & Clinical Assessment

We assess your oral health using photos, scans, X-rays, and a 3D CT scan. Treatment options—single, multiple, or full-arch (fixed or removable)—are discussed.

Treatment Planning & Quotation

A tailored plan is created based on your needs. Complex cases may include digital smile design. A detailed quote and anaesthesia/temporary teeth options are provided.

Implant Placement Surgery (by implant surgeon)

Implants are placed by a specialist. Quantity depends on the case (e.g. 1 for single tooth, 4–6 for full-arch). Healing follows before restoration.

Healing & Osseointegration Phase

Implants bond with the bone over 8–16 weeks. Temporary teeth may be provided. Healing is regularly reviewed.

Final Restoration Phase

Custom abutments and high-quality crowns/bridges/dentures are made and fitted for comfort, function, and aesthetics. Try-ins may be done for full-arch cases.

Fitting, Review & Maintenance

The final restoration is secured. You’ll receive care instructions and be encouraged to attend regular hygiene visits to maintain your implant.
